Wikipedia Lesson Plan von Jane Petring

"My advanced students have to prepare a research project. Normally they do most of their research online using Wikipedia and specialized websites, but I think that it would be a real eye opener for them to use other resources and then publish their research on Wikipedia. There are a number of WikiProjects that indicate a need for articles in specific fields. Have any of you done this before? Do you have advice or warnings of pitfalls to avoid?
