Activity Module: Audio Recorder (create MP3 audio files)

Audio Recorder Activity Module. - Developed by the School of Education at the University of Nottingham, this learning tool allows students to record an MP3 audio file, saving to a local folder. The student can then upload it as an assignment. It works similar to the assignment module. This module has a Flash interface and uses an ActiveX control to create the MP3 audio file, hence it will only work in Internet Explorer.[Moodle 1.7, Moodle, 1.6 and standalone versions available]
