Ein Jahr in der Fremde: Austauschschüler berichten

Was macht man mit 16 auf sich allein gestellt in einem fremden Land bei einer unbekannten Familie? Das Online-Projekt "Ein Jahr in der Fremde" ist dabei, wenn Austauschschüler Antworten finden, die sie ein Leben lang prägen.
Die Jugendlichen des Films kehren ihren Familien den Rücken, um ein Jahr im Ausland zu leben. Freiwillig verlassen sie einen geschützten Raum und begeben sich auf unbekanntes Terrain, jenseits der vertrauten Lebensgewohnheiten.
