Anwendungsbeispiel im handlungsorientierten Französischunterricht.
"Schülerinnen und Schüler schlüpfen in die Rolle einer Lehrbuchperson und schreiben aus der Fremdperspektive eine E-Mail als Aktivität in Moodle.
Im Fremdsprachenunterricht bildet das Schreiben eine zentrale Kompetenz, die durch den Einsatz netzbasierter Kommunikationsmittel wie E-Mail gefördert werden kann. Im Gegensatz zum Verfassen von Texten in Papierform, die im Unterricht laut vorgelesen werden und somit der reinen Rezeption dienen, ist das Schreiben im virtuellen Raum eine bidirektionale Handlungsform, die Ähnlichkeiten aber auch Unterschiede zur Face-to-Face-Kommunikation aufweist. Die Schüler verfassen Texte via E-Mail, die von Mitschülern, Lehrperson, Austauschpartnern im Zielsprachenland und weiteren bekannten oder unbekannten Adressaten nicht nur gelesen, sondern auch beantwortet werden, so dass Austausch und Kommunikation sowie im weiteren Sinne sogar Kollaboration und Aneignung von Wissen möglich wird. "
